The KLAE Photography Fine Art Portrait Experience

Thank you so much for your interest in the KLAE Photography Fine Art Portrait Experience.

The Inspiration

Without question, the Renaissance Era was one of, if not THE most influential and trans-formative periods in Art History. While we all to this day refer to these artists and their creations as the works of true masters and near miracle workers, I will go out on a limb and say none of us have their original pieces presented in our homes. I am a firm believer that viewing beautiful art on a daily basis has an extreme impact on our mental well being, especially when the art holds a big place personally in our hearts and souls.

This is exactly why I have taken this on as one of my signature styles. Bringing the same style of light, color, and mood into modern day Fine Art Portrait Photography allows my clients to proudly display their one-of-a-kind portraits in a way that makes them think, feel, love, appreciate, and cherish the art that they hang on the walls of their home.

In addition to my inspiration from the Renaissance Artists, I am also very inspired by the idea of family Heirlooms. When beautiful, quality, printed works of art are passed through generations of family members they have so much more than a monetary value. They cement a time in history that will never happen again. Great Grandchildren, their children, and beyond will have the opportunity to display and cherish those images forever.

“The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.”

The Full Experience-Beginning to End

The KLAE Photography Fine Art Experience consists of a Pre-Consultation, a One Hour In Studio Session, Full Retouching of images, an In Person Viewing Session, and “The Gallery Premier”.

During your Pre-Consultation we will discuss your goals for your portraits, including your child’s personality and expressions that you hope to achieve, how you would like to present the art in your home, color profiles, clothing, and props that will be used/needed in your Fine Art Portraits.

Amazing Art is always the goal. As a photographer, I shoot where the light works best and the subject is most comfortable. During your studio session, I will very rarely use artificial light. I prefer natural light to achieve a soft yet detailed look and feel to your portraits. Typically, these are photographed in my home studio - located in McKinney, TX. However, when great lighting conditions are available, I will photograph portraits in my clients homes. Location will be established during your pre-consultation.

After your session is complete, I will personally retouch the best of the best from your session. This process normally takes no more than one week, at which point we will schedule an in person viewing session. Your Fine Art Portraits will be presented to you on screen at my home studio where you will have the opportunity to choose from a personally curated list of Museum Quality Fine Art Prints based on our initial Pre-Consultation.

Once your Prints/Products have been delivered to me, we will schedule your “Gallery Premier” where I will personally deliver your Printed Art to your home.

At KLAE Photography we believe that when we are commissioned to create Heirlooms for a family, that family deserves our full attention.

“It’s one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are.”
